Safety Systems and Recommendation Systems based on Action Recognition (Fusheng-Precision)
May 2019 – Jan 2020, Professional Project
Project description
Employ activity recognition to develop an algorithm for detecting human action for labor workers. The model is used to prevent a failure action which leads to work accidents and production instability.
Responsibilities:
1. As a lead and the main programmer to industrialized existing method on action recognition models.
2. Interact with team members to discuss the main problem they want to solve.
3. Make a final report with the team members.
NTUST and CGU as Charity Project
Mar 2019 – Dec 2019 ,Professional Project
Project Description
Combine vision recognition technology and rule-based skills to develop an algorithm for detecting human movement specific in squat action. Use only two cameras to catch the user’s movement and help users do squat correctly and safely by themselves. The final report is presented in Taiwan television channel.
Responsibilities:
As a lead and the main programmer to industrialized existing method on action recognition models.
Interact with team members to discuss the main problem they want to solve.
Make a final report with the team members.
Super Resolution on Android Phone
Feb 2019 – Jun 2019, Advanced course project
Objective:
Deploy novel deep learning super-resolution algorithms on smartphones. Initially, the algorithm was trained and tested on a supercomputer. In this work, we tried to deploy the model on a smartphone with a Qualcomm GPU-supported chip-set.
Project description:
Deployed a super-resolution on an algorithm on a Qualcomm chipset based android smartphone.
Re-code and re-train an existing code to be able to run by the supported libraries.
Use an SNPE library to fully maximize the GPU support unit on a smartphone.
Keywords:
Android Smartphone, Qualcomm Chipset, SNPE Library, Generative Adversarial Network
Highway Car Counter Video Based
Feb 2019 – Jun 2019, Advanced Course Project
Project description
Built a new algorithm by combining object detection and object tracker as an object counter.
Apply the model to real-time video or file-based video as an occurrence counter (human counter, animal counter, and or others detection).
Keywords:
Object Detection, Object Tracking, YOLO, Neural Network, Real-time Object Detection
Hackathon Competition in ITB Indonesia
Sep 2019, Professional Project
Project description:
Hold a Hackathon competition in the Institute of Technology Bandung. The topic of this competition is using AWS cloud service to build IoT related services. Help students familiarize AWS service, help them create a good idea, and finally implement to AWS cloud service.
Responsibilities:
As a technical assistant to help students follows the course.
Managing event rundown.
As a translator for the Indonesian language.
Cutting And Printing Optimization
Feb 2019 - Jun 2019, Self Project
Project description:
Built a model to find the most effective way to do the cutting and printing problems such as fabric cutting solutions.
Used Genetic Algorithm and Particle Swarm as base models.
The example result is maximizing the cut result of a fabric cutting layer by minimizing the wasted part on the fabric layer.
